I’ve just completed Cherryleaf’s Using Generative AI in Technical Writing course.
I chose this course because it promised exactly what I was looking for: insights into how AI can support many different stages of the documentation workflow. I wanted to gather more ideas, discover new tools, and see practical examples of AI in action — and this course delivered exactly what I was hoping for.
Some of my main takeaways:
– Exposure to a wide range of AI tools for technical communication
– Proof-of-concept demonstrations that inspired new ways of working
– A fascinating look at Google Opal and its automation potential
– A reminder of how creative and flexible prompt design can beIt was also great to know that the course is accredited by the ISTC – Institute of Scientific and Technical Communicators, which makes it a valuable credential for technical communicators.
Many thanks to Ellis Pratt and the Cherryleaf team for creating such a practical, forward-looking program.
