If they wanted to go for a very low literacy version, just a picture of a person (gender non-specific) could have worked.
Perhaps they should try and fit a receipt space in there as well?
Maybe I’m thinking about this a bit too much!
I wonder if they plan to usability-test it, and if I could volunteer to be a test subject.
Great example, but it wouldn’t work here in America. I can imagine the massive lawsuit that would result from a cabbie merely touching someone, let alone searching them for his fare.
