Gamification and User Assistance

We’d like to know if anyone has looked at the relevance of gamification (aka gameification) theory to User Assistance. Are there useful lessons to be learned for Technical Authors?

  2. Ellis, this is something I’ve done a lot of thinking about with regard to Performance Support.

    I’ve collected shedloads of resources and started (then stopped) the Gameify.org blog. I’ve also worked on a couple of gameification projects, with mixed results, it has to be said. (I’m going to add the gameification feed into my main blog from next week.).
