What is Flare?

Flare is a new Help authoring tool from the people that originally developed RoboHelp. It allows non-technical writers and business professionals to create XML-based content, with the simplicity of using a word processor. Flare offers the power and flexibility of working in an XML-based work flow without having to know anything about the complexities of XML.

How we can help

Many of us have invested a lot of time and effort to developing documentation, and moving to a new authoring tool needs to be done properly.

Cherryleaf can help you address concerns you may have over:

  • Importing legacy content
  • Implementing the best workflow and working practices
  • Setting up the right page design and "look and feel" for you
  • Setting up your templates
  • Setting up your styles and standards
  • Lack or resource and expertise

Our people and processes

Cherryleaf's staff have many years' experience of working with Help technology, and can help you get the most from Flare. Our staff include Certified RoboHelp Instructors and we have had close involvement with the Flare Beta test programme (even prior to the company being established). We're also expert enough in Flare to teach training courses in it.

We present papers on Help authoring techniques and technology at conferences throughout the world, and our consultants are recognised as leading authorities within the global online Help community (for examples, see our articles). Our methodology for project management enables us to run complex Help development projects within carefully controlled time and budget constraints.

If you are planning a Help project, would like some advice, or you'd like to know more about our services then do contact us.
