This vacancy is via our French partner.  This client is a major hosting provider in Europe and worldwide. They are currently recruiting a Media Relations/Public Relations/Marketing Executive to join their team.

Working in the communication team, you will be in charge of the implementation and follow up of all online/offline communication and PR.

You will set out an action plan by working with our internal teams and suppliers (communication/press agencies) to ensure that projects are high quality and delivered within deadlines, while keeping costs within the communication budget.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead, adapt and coordinate all communication activities related to the group’s strategy on a local level
  • Develop and implement offline communication campaigns
  • Create and execute PR campaigns, collaborating with internal teams and external PR agencies
  • Build brand awareness as a leading cloud/IAAS provider locally
  • Develop and build partnerships with influencers and opinion
    leaders, to promote the company as a thought leader (schools, universities, start-ups, business clubs, websites/blogs)
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of journalists, press partners and influencers locally
  • Assist in the organisation and delivery of events locally
  • Identify meaningful local events to ensure increased presence and brand awareness locally

Your experience

You must hold a regular work permit for the UK. In addition, they require:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience, ideally in B2B marketing in the IT sector
  • Experience executing a communication strategy
  • Rich network of journalists and influencers in the IT industry
  • Ability to engage with key stake holders
  • A real self-starter, able to work independently and as a team
  • Negotiation and influencing skills
  • Editorial and digital content writing skills
  • English A-level, or higher
