We've put together a guide that explains the business uses for Twitter. If you're a Twitter user, please let others know.

- very small surveys
- status updates for you coworkers who might be looking for you in your office or trying to decide whether to call your cell or work phone
- invites to events
- friendsourcing (something that your video touches on but in the reverse, looking for work), asking for help or references on a particular topic
-conference coverage using Twemes (Twitter themes, like http://twemes.com/doctrainwest)
my favorite techy one is
- integrate Twitter as a cost-free SMS gateway into your own applications (Monitwitter, sadly, has stopped active development)

And Twitter is just plain fun sometimes, too.
