Overall job volumes
Vacancy levels for technical authors and writers rose in December across most major UK job boards, reversing the modest slowdown seen in October/November.
Contract opportunities remain limited but command solid day rates. Overall, the UK market ended 2025 with increased demand for technical communication professionals, compared recent months.
