We believe in transparency about how we use AI tools in our work. Our approach is simple: we use AI as a tool where it adds value, but the expertise, judgement, and quality control remain firmly human.
Web content
The text content on this website is written by humans. We sometimes use AI to help with the drafting of portions of content; for example, we use AI to generate the initial data for our monthly jobs indicator. However, we do not share unreviewed AI output.
We do not also send you emails or messages generated by AI.
Visual content
We use AI tools to generate some images and videos on this site.
The subtitles on our videos are generated initially using AI, and then edited.
Training materials
Our courses that teach AI skills naturally incorporate AI tools as part of the learning experience.
Client projects
For data security and privacy reasons, we minimise AI use in client work. Client confidentiality is paramount. We only use AI where it can draw on existing knowledge without processing client data. For example, to draft a definition of an industry term or generate boilerplate code structures.
Development
Some code samples and interactive tools we have developed (primarily for our AI training courses) were created with assistance from AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude, though all code is reviewed and tested by our developers.
